Innovative Life Skills and Therapy Based Community Programs
The program blends activity-based personal goal enrichment and achievement (which is tailored to each participants’ specific situation) with a framework for the development, assessment, and recognition of skills for independent living, skills for employment, skills for relationships, skills for growth and skills for life which builds into a profile of demonstrated, evidenced achievement.
Each program in the Cherished Life series consists of weekly group meetings and structured between-session practical activities which demonstrate practical implementation and competence of individualised content. Activities are recorded in a portfolio of evidence, with formal recognition for small steps in achievement of a larger goal.
Each program includes pre and post assessment, ongoing monitoring of progress, and a celebration of achievement.
